Key Program Phases
Sourcing & Selection

This phase will ensure that we select high-impact but vulnerable insurtech’s that have the potential to catalyse change in the insurance space.


Acceleration of insurtech start-ups involves the delivery of specific sessions based on the needs of the insurtechs. This is usually delivered in 5 cycles, including training on value proposition, customer acquisition, product development, growth strategy, and healthy companies. This phase looks into improving the viability and likelihood of success and degree of inclusivity of the selected start-ups. The session will combine expert-led sessions and peer exchange sessions on various topics.

Networking & Learning

This phase entails the connection of each insurtech with a mentor and a team of advisors for one-to-one mentorship sessions and advice. The insurtech can also interact with the regulator on various regulatory issues and concerns. The regulatory session will enable the innovators to understand the regulatory perspective and how the current considerations in the regulation may impact their business. The session also provides the regulator with an understanding of the new products and start-up concerns around policy adherence with their innovations. The phase will also allow the innovators to meet corporates and other successful insurtech’s to understand the partnership opportunities.

Pitch Day

This phase allows the insurtech’s to utilize an extensive global stakeholder network, including investors, and corporate partnerships, to attract funding and scale opportunities for the start-ups.
